Business mentoring is important for any business and especially so for start ups. According to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation's (REC) Academy for Business, support for new SMEs is more important now then ever. Considering the rising number of start ups it is vital that businesses have access to mentoring that they can depend on and learn from. Recently the Federation of Small Businesses stated that a mentoring scheme needs to be developed by the private sector rather than the government. Business management is complicated and the guidance of experienced advisors is essential.
