In a study conducted by TNS Research for the Self Storage Association it was found that 40% of Welsh workers work from their homes. Most workers, about 78% rated the internet to be the most important element in their working arrangement. The telephone was rated as being second most important by 67% of respondents. This working arrangement works well for both employers and employees. It reduces office costs and increases productivity. In September in a poll by GrIDsure, 46% of respondents revealed that they had worked from their homes in August instead of their workplace.
