As more and more businesses discover the many advantages of cloud computing it has been named as one of the top ten strategic technologies of 2010. This was declared by Gartner, the research consultancy. Cloud computing has the ability to allow businesses to cut costs while raising efficiency and performance. Experts believe that in times to come we will see cloud computing on a range from ‘open public’ to ‘closed private’. Businesses will be able to manage technologies through the enterprise and one expects them to be remotely managed too. Soon SMEs will have dedicated teams to deal with cloud computing and related decisions.
