Recent research by the Institute of Financial planning indicates that more women are turning breadwinners for their families than ever before. Today more women are well involved in financial planning other than the basic and daily budgeting of the family’s funds. Many families have women as the primary breadwinners who are making ends meet. When asked 67% of women reported that they were more careful with their spending this year than they were last year. This was a contrast to the 60% of men who admitted to the same. In some families this trend also means that the male may not work at all.
