It is important for businesses to ensure that their employees are satisfied with their jobs. To this end they need to make certain that employee engagement levels are increased. According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) by demonstrating the value of an employee a business can guarantee long term commitment towards the organization. Only a small percentage of UK employees feel that their line managers give adequate feedback about their efforts and skills. In a survey conducted by the organization it was revealed that despite an insecure job market 28% of respondents were willing to change jobs for a better boss.
